This length party has been our standard for many years. Parents normally organise a 2 hour timeframe and invite us to start 30 minutes after the children are invited. You have a full hour of games, music, dancing, props, theatrical storytelling, entertainment and prizes, followed by 30 minutes of face painting and balloon twisting (if under 10 children we can fit in both, otherwise we normally have the birthday child choose which they prefer).
